Inspiration for my art comes from horror, children's literature, science fiction, and the occult. Like the sweet almond flavored poison Arsenic, my art contains a pleasant and approachable base, with menacing undertones.
Arsenic is a poisonous element represented by the swan throughout history. The downward-pointing triangle overlapping an open triangle is one of the seven symbols commonly used by alchemists to represent this element. The four heads of the swan represent each of the four major elements, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth and the four seasons Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
